Duct Tape

Duct tape is a multi-purpose tape with a fabric (cloth) base, a polyethylene (PE) film coating, and a 4-8N high-adhesion pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Duct tape typically consists of three layers:

  1. Polyethylene (PE) Film Layer
    • Provides water resistance and durability
    • Gives the tape its smooth outer surface
  2. Cloth Layer
    • Adds tensile strength
    • Enables easy hand tearing
  3. Adhesive Layer (Rubber / PSA)
    • Strong initial tack
    • Bonds well to rough and uneven surfaces

Typical Application of Duct Tape

Duct Tape Applications

1. Carpet Fixing

Used for securing carpet edges at exhibitions, events, offices, etc.

Prevents carpet shifting and curling, improving safety and cleanliness.

2. Pipe Sealing

Temporarily seals air ducts, water pipes, or joints.

Suitable for emergency sealing of air conditioning ducts, ventilation systems, etc.

3. Temporary Repair

Quickly repairs damaged items (such as plastic parts, fabric, cardboard boxes, etc.)

Applied to construction sites, logistics packaging, and routine maintenance.
